Kenny Scharf mural-Philly (by Tim McFarlane)

West side of 13th Street between Walnut and Sansom Sts. 

I’m sort of “eh” about Kenny Scharf’s work, but this mural does offer a nice respite from the low-key grays and browns of the surrounding buildings, so I’ll give it a pass. Also, there aren’t many artistic murals around Philly like this one. Even though we have a bazillion murals, a great majority are community-oriented.
